Community Involvement

Max has participated in the Tonderi Speaking Competition at his school twice, and won on the second attempt in 2016.

He has participated in his school’s community outreach program Grammar Helping Hands twice, once in 2013 and once in 2017.

Max has volunteered with the Queensland Liberal and National party, and since 2016 has been an active member with the Young LNP.

He has participated in a number of political campaigns including the 2016 Sunshine Coast Council election, where he was a volunteer for division 8 Councillor Jason O’Pray. He has also participated in the 2015 Queensland Election and volunteered for the Member for Maroochydore Fiona Simpson.

Mr Coultan has participated in the Federal Member for Fairfax Ted O’Brien’s young entrepreneur’s competition called Generation Innovation in 2015 and volunteered for the 2016 competition, and was featured in an advertisement for the 2017 competition.
